Crunches Ineffective???!


Question: Crunches Ineffective!?!?!?
I've been doing crunches for a few weeks in hopes to get a six pack!. Before anyone asks anything I have been doing them properly!. I do 3 reps of 30!. As I do the crunches I feel my abdominal muscles being worked which is nice!. But the next day I don't get that exciting feeling of soreness and the lactic acid buildup!.!.!.is it suppose to be like this!?!? any tips!?!.!.Thanks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

a 6-pack is all about low body fat!. just because you are 5'8 and 125 lbs doesn't mean you are lean (low body fat)!. there are tons of skinny people with a moderate to high percentages of body fat because they have an overall lack of muscle mass and don't follow healthy diets!. to see the entire abdominal wall with out having to flex you need to have about 10% body fat or less!. if you do have low body fat then you need to train the midsection with resistance to increase the size of the abdominal muscles!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Crunches alone won't do you any good!. Sure, they will build up the muscle underneath your skin, but it won't start to show through until you get rid of the tiny layer of fat over them (I'm not calling you fat!. Most people have this little layer)!. I would recommend combining your routine with some cardio exercises!. Believe me, you'll start to see results rather quickly!.

Also, if you want that feeling of soreness in your stomach again, try doing more reps of crunches or even try some other abdominal exercises!. Your muscles have probably gotten used to what you're doing now!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
