I always recommend to my clients that they don't focus on calories or their weight in pounds!. Focus on eating healthy foods, foods that are real!. Real food doesn't come in a box, can or package!.
If you go into a grocery store and shop along the outside aisles you will see meat, fruit, veggies, and dairy products!. These are all real food!.
I also tell my clients to eat smaller meals more times (5-6) per day!. When a body is starved it will store fat!. When it believes that times are good (when it's being feed good nutrition often) it will release fat!.
Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Chicken breast, turkey breast, if you get ground meat, get ground turkey, usually it is cheaper anyway, and it is healthier, as long as you make sure it is lean, of course!. Whole grain noodles, whole grain cereals, vegetable juice, if you decide to get fruit juice try to make sure it is 100% fruit juice!. Skim milk, low fat yogurts/cottage cheese/sour cream/cheeses!. Most of your favorite snacks will come in a low fat version!. Whole grain bread, low fat dressings so you aren't tempted to load a healthy salad up with unhealthy dressing! If you enjoy steak, get some! Just make sure it is very lean!. Fish of all kinds are good for you!. Olive oil is a must! If you insist on having soda, get some diet!. Its probably best to avoid it altogether though!. Have fun!Www@Answer-Health@Com

sugar free jellies or jam, reduced fat peanut butter and spreads
low fat/skimmed milk, reduced fat cheese, low fat yogurt
baked chips, sorbet/sherbet, low calorie jello, dark chocolate, rice cakes, crispbread
Check out the ingredients and look out for these words! They are no good for you:
lard, (partially) hydrogenated oil, enriched flour, ghee, high fructose corn syrup, butter or margarine
Happy shopping :)

chicken is always good source of protein, red meat (but in moderation) fish, whole wheat pasta (in moderation), ground or regular turkey (although i am not a huge fan), and the fruit and veggies that you mentioned already!.
i am not into the extreme diet foods, (tofu, etc) but i would assume, if you enjoy it, it would be good for somethingWww@Answer-Health@Com
