How do I get more flexible?!
Question: How do I get more flexible!?
For highschool, gym, you are tested in everything, including flexibility!. I can't touch my feet!. I can touch my feet only after I stretch a lot!. How do I make myself more flexible!? Is there some routine I can do daily!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would do a straddle sit on the wall and try to stretch my legs out as far as I could!. You could also do normal straddle sits and touch your toes also!.

get a yoga or pilates dvd or search the web for pilates exersises!. It really increases flexibility!. You have to watch because if you do the wrong thing and overstretch, or if your too eager, you could end up pulling a muscle!. Alot of the stars including Madonna does Pilates and there isnt anybody any more flexible than her!!!!!! lolWww@Answer-Health@Com
It helps if you do physical activity before stretching because it warms your muscles up and is more beneficial!. Jog around or do a couple jumping jacks and stuff or do it after a sports practice if you play any!.
Just keep stretching, you'll get better!. Sit down on the floor and do a straddle stretch (spread your legs apart) and reach to the right for 10 sec!., left for 10 sec, then middle!. Repeat 3 times!. Then do a pike position (feet out in front of you w/ legs together) and stretch forward for 10 sec!. Repeat 3 times!. And if you can do the splits, try those and hold as long as you can!. Then stand up and try to reach to the floor and just relax your back!.
