Hey guys, whats the best excersise for the side of your chest?!

Hey guys, whats the best excersise for the side of your chest?

It's kinda hard to explain but the part i'm talking about is not really lower chest really. I'm talking about the side where it's almost like under the arm or armpit area. I was wondering whats the best workout to hit that specific area? If you can, please share your workout routine thats worked for you in building a good chest. Thanx.


Answers:

I believe bench press actually works that area the best. Try using a wider grip if you are not seeing results now. If you've been working out awhile switch to doing dumbbell presses instead. Also if your trying to add mass to that area, get a reliable partner/spotter and go heavy as you can to get out 5-7 reps. With a good spotter go a couple reps past muscle fatigue and concentrate on your negative reps (slowly lowering the weights back down to your chest). And always, always concentrate on your form and breathing, when I say go heavy don't go crazy and do more than you can handle and screw your form up.
My routine for chest days goes usually like this with heavy weights: bench press, incline dumbbell press, decline dumbbell press, dumbbell flies, cross-overs, incline cross-overs, and then a "rep-out' exercise either using a Nautilus bench machine or push-ups.
