Would drinking coffe for breakfeast start your metabolism?

I ALWAYS eat cereal for breakfeast, cause Im scared Im ganna get fat if I eat anything else, and I dont eat ANYTHING with it, it just makes me feel fat. but I cant skip breakfeast because I feel it makes me gain weight. I love coffee but I cant drink it with my cereal. could I just drink coffe instead of having cereal? would it start my metabolism?

When you wake up, eat right away. And have a cup of coffee along with your breakfast. .

Your body stores enough glycogen (carbs) in your muscles to run about 20 miles, whether or not you eat before a morning workout.

Your body burns a combination of carbs and fat, whether or not you eat before a workout or before getting active in the morning.


Its easier for your body to utilize glycogen in the bloodstream than it is to access the glycogen in your muscles. Basically you are giving yourself a kick-start.

Even experienced athletes and body builders will argue until they are blue in the face about this but you can actually burn more fat is by eating something before you start your day.

Carbs stoke the fat burning fire. So eat your cereal and have your coffee. You can also have oats instead of cereal, or a hard boiled egg (or egg whites) and toast.
