I'd like to purchase a JUICER but there are so many - easy to clean and best val!

Question:

I'd like to purchase a JUICER but there are so many - easy to clean and best value for money?

Answers:

A lot will depend on how you want to use your juicer.

If you want to just juice fruit and veg a Champion Juicer is probably the best and most hard wearing, they are relatively easy to take apart and clean.
Prices are reasonable considering this juicer will last over 10years easily, even with daily usage.
Champion Juicer for about £200

you can even get a press for the champion to get more juice from the pulp ejected

and a grain mill if you like to make your own flour from stuff like seeds and nuts.

The Twin Gear models, like the Green Star, are slightly more expensive but you can do much more with one including making wheatgrass juice and even pasta! They are more fiddly to take apart and clean but they will return more juice per cycle than any other type of juicer.
from about £300

Budget Juicers are ok if you just want to see if you like juicing, but they won't last and can be fiddly to clean. You can get reasonable ones for juicing fruit and some veg at about £50 like this -
Moulinex JuiceMachine Pro wholefruit juicer

Juicing is great fun, and having used both the Green Star and a champion I'd struggle to decide between the 2.

And forget the Jack Lalane, they're a b*** to clean.

Avoid any juicer where the juicing process takes place internally as they will be a real pain to clean
