In Australia it is five vege and two fruit, not sure of everywhere else!.

Yesterday I ate baked beans on toast (1 veg) and a banana (1 fruit)!. Lunch I had a bowl of homemade minestrone soup (~ 2 veg)!. Afternoon tea I had a mandarine (1 fruit)!. Dinner I had a smaller portion of meat and a larger serving of veg (~2 veg)!.

Note: I also ate other foods - milk, cheese, chocolate, toast etc!.

The key to getting all of your vegies is to not leave them until dinner!. Try eating them for breaky (e!.g!. in a omlette, baked beans, tomatoes) and get a good helping for lunch!. Fruit is easy, just have it as snacks or dessert after dinner!.

Fruit and vege is only expensive if you are buying it out of season!. If you want proof compare foods per kilo and you will see that bananas are ~$3/ kg AUD vs!. muesli bar for ~ $15/kg AUD!.

I think a key to getting all serves is to plan ahead!. I don't think missing out on all five once every now and then is too bad either!.

yesterday I ate a 1 serving of mixed fruit for breakfast, 1 apple after lunch, 1 apple after dinner, 1 serving of brocolli for dinner, and 1 serving of a mixture of corn, black beans, tomatoes, and onions for dinner=5 servings

today so far I had a serving of mixed fruit for breakfast and I'll probably do the same as yesterdayWww@Answer-Health@Com

I try really hard to have 5 a day the minimum is 3 a day depending on what we're doing, Yes'day i had apple, large salad,(2ptns), carrtots sticks so tat was 4 ptns,
Today i've already had 2 ptns of fruit in a smoothie, then we've got stuffed peppers and sald for tea, i will have fruit for a sncak this afternoon so thats 5 dfor today!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yesterday - Banana, blue berries and a vegetable stir fry (about 4 vegetables in it) Leeks, Carrots, Broccoli, bean sprouts, peppers!.

So yesterday i had quite alot

And today i've had 2 - Banana and blueberries (plus lemon in tea, does that count!? lol) and later i'll have some more fruit =]

I had an orange earlier and i,ll be having carrots with me dinner later but thats it, i try to be healthy that way, but sometimes i just forget to eat fruit, even though its there in front of me, xxWww@Answer-Health@Com

I probably eat about 8 or 10 pieces of fruit a day but never eat any veg!. Probably consists of three or four apples, couple of bananas whatever else is in season, especially strawberries, love them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't know!. I eat a lot of fruit, so I know I get more than 5 servings of fruit!. Is it separate!? Like 5 veggies and 5 fruits or just 5 altogether!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
