Can digesting your food make you loose weight?!

Can digesting your food make you loose weight?
If digesting your food well make you loose weight how much pounds could you loose? But could you really loose weight digest your food.
Answers:
Everyone knows that energy comes from the food we eat. What many people fail to realize, however, is that it takes a certain amount of energy to digest that food. Protein takes the most amount of energy as it needs to be broken down into its constituent amino acids, then reassembled to form new proteins. Carbohydrates take less energy, and fat takes almost no energy to digest. It simply gets absorbed and distributed throughout the body. If you want to take full advantage of this, you should have a high protein diet, with lower amounts of carbohydrates and minimal fat (although your body does need a little bit of fat in order to transport certain vitamins). Your best bet, of course, is to exercise 30-60 minutes per day and keep your overall caloric intake low (but not lower than 1500 calories per day). The bottom lines is: expend more calories than you consume.
