Question: Losing a bit of thigh muscle!?! Any help!?
I'm 16, 5"5, i weight approx 9st 2lbs and i'm a dancer!.!.!.!.I've been doing ballet since i was about 3 and i've always had very strong legs!. My thigh muscles in particular!. Because i'm not extremely tall i sometimes feel i look quite stubby when i dance and i would like to lose the mass of muscle on my thighs!.!.!.i'm pretty sure theres no excess fat, theres just loads of muscles!.!.!.especially when i tense my legs

Any tips on how to lose some of this bulky muscle!?!.!.healthily!?

IMO
The amount of muscle you have is partly genetic and partly due to it's response to exercise!. It is likely that your Quadraceps (thigh muscles) have hypertrofied (grown) due to the stimulus given by your dancing and training!. Therefore if they were smaller, you might be less easily able to acheive the same movements!. A healthy body will hold on to as much muscle as it needs and no more!.

There are circumstances under which your body will use muscle for energy but it is not sustainable!.

Maybe you should just celebrate your strengths!?!

legs raised and pretending to ride a bike) Walking/Jogging up and down a staircase if you

These are just examples of easy exercises you can do!. There are many more and you
might even invent some yourself!. The goal here is to work different parts of your body
throughout the day for a few minutes at a time to get your metabolism going and
stimulate your body to burn fat and build muscle!.
To really see if you are getting results you should stick with this method for several
weeks and focus solely on this and not any other exercise programs!. If you continue to go
to the gym a few times a week you may not be able to gauge how successful this is!.
After a few weeks feel free to go to a more traditional routine!. What works very well is
every month or so if you switch back to this method!. This also helps to keep things fresh

you can go on a trek to the himalayas and vie for the summit!.

the thin air will work your body so much that your body will cannibalize itself to stay alive!. this means it will first consume all the fat reserves in your body!. then when the fat is gone, it will consume muscle!.

nope i have the same problem!.!.!.!.!. i have asked trainers and doctors and yahoo but no one could help me!. I was a dancer for 15 years and i did cheer!. If you do find something that works tell me please!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
