Question: How can I lose 20 pounds before school starts!?
Im going into middle school and im a little fat school starts september 7
and were going shopping for food tonight

Hi! I have some great advice for you! I know where you are coming from!. I lost around 20-25 lbs a couple years ago and I've been able to maintain a healthy weight without suffering from all of the delicious, but not very healthy, foods around me!.!.!. Here are some of my secrets for a fit and healthy body :)

Here's the trick!.!.!. eat healthy!. Try whole grain breads instead of white (more protein and fiber, plus HEALTHIER!), eat more fruits and vegetables raw (cooking them, you lose more vitamins, minerals, and nutrition), and use ground turkey or chicken instead of ground beef (it's a leaner form of meat and it usually can be more moist)!. If you feel you must have a fattening and unhealthy meal, eat a few bites of it (like ice cream or mac and cheese) and then put it away!. Getting a taste of it will conquer your craving and keep you on track!. Even I have my days :)

In terms of exercise, I don't know where you live, and depending on the weather, you might want to get a membership to a gym!. Ab exercises are not always the best in order to lose weight around the midsection!. Cardio, such as running, walking, jogging, and going on an elliptical, are some of the best things you can do for not only your legs, but also your abs as well :) Dancing is the best all around cardio you can do, so you can find some cool music and rock out!

Exercise and eating healthy, substantial meals will get you on the road to becoming (no, not thin) HEALTHY!

edit: DON'T FORGET TO DRINK LOTS OF WATER! It's summertime and getting dehydrated from not drinking enough soda is not healthy for your body!. Your body is made up of around 75% of water (since you are younger) and you need to drink enough everyday :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

well when you go food shopping, ask your mom if maybe you can shop in the organic or healthy food section!. they have PLENTY of healthy alternatives for junk goodies!. i used to be obsessed with that kind of stuff but after i switched to organic, i feel a lot better and find it easier to lose weight!. as for exercise, the summer is a great opportunity to sign up for a sports camp or a dance camp!. you could also try some workout videos, i love them! one that especially helps is the first cindy crawford workout dvd!. it burns after you do it, but it pays off!!!

Fitness is 70 percent diet and 30 percent exercise!.

So, eating healthy is more important than working out everyday!.
However, to have a balanced well-toned body, you need to exercise somehow!.

If you don't have much time, work out twice a week!.

First, run 30 minutes each time!.
Second, do sit-ups at home 3 minutes a day!.
Third, try to walk as much as possible on campus!.

In the mean time, here is how to lose weight QUICKLY!.

First, eat a small portion 6 times a day, every three hours!.

Second, drink lots of water- 8 glasses a day!.

Third, cut down on soda and switch to diet soda or even water!.

Fourth, do NOT skip breakfast!.

Fifth, eat lean meat such as chicken and turkey!.

Sixth, do not eat within two hours before going to bed!.

Seventh, carry healthy snacks such as fruits and baby carrots!.

Eighth, start running 30 minutes a day, 5 times a week!.

Last, sleep at least 8 hours day!. Lack of sleep makes you eat more!.

Don't try and lose it!. Losing too fast can make you flabby and it is unhealthy for kids your age!. Exercise and tone up and eat normal and just cut out junk and you will get a nice firm shape that way!. my daughter likes to go for walks alot and that has helped her!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yeah just eat healthy and walk or ride a bike a little everyday!.!. like evryone else is saying, dont try to lose it so fast!. It might take time but its not just about being skinny, its about being healthy too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
