What the rule is, you're supposed to take in 2000 calories per day and the 2000 includes fat and non-fat calories!. How it works is at the end of the day if you ate less then 2000 you lost/stayed the same but if you go over 2000 you gained!.

i need 3000 cals a day due to my cardio which i do in order to burn off the weight, on average per day im consuming 1800 cals which is less than 1200 what i need!.

3500 cals = 1lb of bodyweight

so in a week im burning just over 2 lbs, you need to make these calculations based on your own stats and what your eating and change them for yourself!.
