I am extremely sore from over-doing my gym workout... Should I rest?!
Question: I am extremely sore from over-doing my gym workout!.!.!. Should I rest!?
I am super tight, and have usually when I get super sore have been able to jog for a few minutes then stretch it out!.!.!.!.
But I feel like I should rest my muscles today!.!.!.
Should I rest and then work out tomorrow!?

Regardless of whether your workout is cardio or weights intensive, you should always take 1-2 days off per week to let your muscles rest and recuperate from the stress and strain of the workout!. If you must do something on your days off, stretch!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
you should rest, your muscles need time to recover before your work them again!. it is advised to go to the gym every other day not every day, if you ignore this you may end up pulling a muscle or doing long term damageWww@Answer-Health@Com
I think that if you rest completely (as in not do anything at all) your workout will be inconsistent, which will cause minor weight gain!. I think that you shouldn't not do anything, you should just not work as hard as normal!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
you could work the muscles which arent sore!.!.!. which will rest the other muscles that are sore!.!.!. or you could rest your whole body!. just dont let one day turn into two, three four and five :pWww@Answer-Health@Com
