There is an outside chance that the numbers could be right!. There are those who eat pizza all the time!. I have a buddy who eat pizza probably 5 times a week!. I might have one every couple of weeks!. Figure, if you eat a Sicilian pizza, you're eating a fairly heavy pizza dough!. Could be they are taking that into consideration as well!. The articel says "on average" a person eats 23 pounds per year!. This means they take the number of pizzas made divided by the number of people they put in their group!. Becuase if they included every single person alive in North America it would not even be close to correct!. And since it's an average, it means that some people could eat 100 pounds a year and other not even a slice!.

Thats a high average!. I eat atleast 2 large pizzas a week!. Thats probably 0!.5kg a week x 52 = 26kg a year!.
