Question: WOULD I LOSE the WEIGHT !?(please answer)!?
i am 128 pounds and 5ft3!.5in
i want to be 115 pounds!. so i have to lose about 15!.
if i go to the gym 2 times a day (elliptical 30 mins each time)
then go home and do 30 cruches pushups and leglifts,
and eat healthy (Diet)
could i lose 15 pounds by august 29thWww@Answer-Health@Com

APPROXIMATES: OK so there is no formula its different for everyone depending on your rate of your metabolism, whether the 15 pound you need to loose is fat or muscle, what exactly you eat, your eating patterns up till now, your energy expenditure up till now, and how strenuous your work outs are!.

BMI RATIOS: Both of the weight-to-height ratios you mention are healthy (of course BMIs are only a rough guide) but this indicates that the change shouldn't be that hard!. The body will not immediately start storing up all your energy like crazy when you have a meal to compensate!. This is like when people starve themselves for a bit then go back to eating again and immediately put the weight back on!.

SHORT AND LONG TERM: The body has evolved mechanisms from when we had to survive long winters so that in the long term generally steady exercise is the way to go rather than intensive work outs and dieting - since dieting etc!. is countered by these mechanisms! You have to eat healthily and importantly keep to a regular meal plan!. Obviously the calories you take in should be way less than those you're going to burn off - if you want to loose weight quick!.

For short term you could power work out/ power-diet!. But remember you have to really maintain the lifestyle after if you want to keep things this way!. This is the reason why power dieting just cannot really work!.

29th-August-2008 = Deadline
That's about 60 days so that 0!.25 pounds a day!.

Is that do-able!? I've got no idea how much a pound is I know metric only!. But it will help you keep track and adjust your routine accordingly!. I guess you should check every half-week or something like that (!?)

You should vary your exercises more!. Try rowing machines every other day or something!. Drink lots and lots of water!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
