Question: I'm 12 and i need to lose weight!?!!?!!?!!?
I am 12 years old and 5 feet tall, i am a girl and i am not happy with my figure, whats the easiest and fastest way to lose weight and keep it off!.!.!. i have been chugging water for the past week and its helping but not very much =/ please help!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well I think it's totally about self-control:

Breakfast: integral toast and a 70-calorie yogurt

Lunch: Fruit (any kind, except banana) and a fish (not fried)

Snack if you get hungry: gum or 90-calorie diet bar

Dinner: Light soup (not a creamy soup, it has too much fat)
Or maybe a cup of special K or cheerios

Some other tips:
DON'T EVER DINNER AFTER 7PM, IT HAS BEEN PROVEN IN INVESTIGATIONS AND THAT HELPS A LOT, TRY TO DINNER BEFORE 7, I SWEAR IT'S AMAZING

I recommend you coffee in the morning, it gives you a lot of energy! (without sugar, or maybe splenda)

Another thing is to drink green tea once a day, it burns fat and it's good for your health

And of course, do at least 50 abs per day

Ask your parents to take you to the doctor for a general physical exam!. If you are an unhealthy weight, your doc can recommend some ways you can change your eating and/or exercise habits, and possibly find a medical reason for you being outside of the healthy weight range for your age/gender/height!. A healthy diet and exercise is the time-tested and proven combo to achieving a healthy lifestyle - which includes being at and maintaining a healthy weight!. Drinking water in place of sugary sodas and fruit cocktails is a good start!. Eat your veggies, lean meats (protein), fruits, and whole grains, and avoid sugary sweets (these are OK in moderation)!. Also, you will not see major results in just one week!. A healthy rate of weight loss is about 1-2 lbs per week!. If you're not already into sports, look for one that interests you!. Or you can ride a bike, walk/jog, skate, swim, etc!. Finally, please do not hold yourself to the "standards" of celebrities or magazine models - your doctor knows what is healthy for you, not them! im 14 and i thought i was SO fat when i was 12!. i was in middle school, in 6th/7th grade and i thought nobody liked me cuz i was so fat!. i do almost every sport there is, track, softball, volleyball!. im still active and i Still dont like the way i look!. i understand, cuz your growing up! all girls are like this at this age!. i hate to hear it from really skinny girls at my school that are like 'omg im soo fat' and they are like freakin tooth picks, so it makes me feel verrryyy self conscience!. but its ok!. God made you that way! and if you stay active in sports and stuff, you'll grow out of it!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your body is going to be changing SO much it's silly to worry a lot about your weight!. If you weigh considerably more than 115-120, perhaps you should be concerned, but if not then please don't worry! You'll do more harm (to your heart, your teeth, your skin, etc etc) than good!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

How much do you weigh!? Besides, your only 12, you shouldn't be worrying about your weight unless it's unhealthy!. If your weight is between 75 - 105 it's normal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
