Question: How many times and how far should I run a day!?
I'm a 12 yr old male and I'm about 136 lbs and i want to get to 112 lbs

my brother is the same, 12 and wants 2 lose weight!. he hates to run!. we just run 15 minutes a day 3 times a week!. every week increase your time by 15 minutes until you get to an hour!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
If you're just starting out i would run every other day to give your muscles time to relax and recover!. Each week or two do a longer distance or up the intensity!. When you feel like YOU(not everyone else) can do more start taking only 1 or 2 days off a week and keep up the same distance!.
Now the starting distance should be what feels right to you!. start with a mile!. its a well rounded distance and easy to work up from!. You dont have to go to fast at first because in a few weeks you'll find your pace and know what the right speed is!. Get a decent sports watch to keep track of your times so you can see the improvement and know when you are getting faster!. ok you should first see how far you can run without stopping!. If it is a mile rum that much for 3 days!. Then increase your distance by about 1 more block and wait 5 days!.
1 more block for a week
1 more block for 10 days
1 more block for 13 days
3 more blocks for 2 days
3more blocks for 3 days

i would start out running a mile a day and keep working up until you get to 5 miles a day you should be in very good shape for a 12 year old if you can run 5 miles no matter what your weight isWww@Answer-Health@Com
