If you're 10, it's most likely still "baby fat" so I really wouldn't worry, but if your doctor thinks that you have a few pounds to lose, the best bet is NOT to diet, but to get outside and exercise! 10 pounds seems like quite a lot of weight to lose, so I'd really just stick to the recommended 4!.

Ride your bike with your friends, go for a swim, go for a walk - do anything that gets your heart rate going, and then come home and reward yourself with a tall glass of water!. If you do 30 minutes of fun activities like this every day, I promise you'll start feeling better!!

If you're looking for some healthy treats, try any of these:

1!. A green apple with some slices of chedder - filling and yummy!

2!. Celery and peanut butter (if you're not allergic)

3!. A popsicle (if you're craving something sweet)

No matter what, though - don't ever deny yourself of anything, just eat in moderation and get plenty of excercise!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

How did you figure you need to lose 5 pounds!? Talk to your parents about it, maybe ask them to take you to a children's nutriologist or pediatrician!. He/she should be able to tell if you are in your right weight or not!. If you are not he/she should be able to give you the right advice!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

In a couple of years you will grow into it, if you are over worried you will become anorexic!.
