Cutting Calories?!

Question:

Cutting Calories?

Okay... so I found that I need to calculate how many calories it takes to maintain my current weight a day, and then knock 500 calories off to lose weight. My question is this; Once I lost that weight, and don't lose anymore, do I cut out ANOTHER 500 calories a day and keep doing that until I'm the weight I want to be? I'll be down to 0 calories really quick!

Answers:

You don't have to knock off 500 from the intake. Excercising is knocking it off as well. Finding your caloric intake necessary for maintained weight is good, but by changing your lifestyle, it will change that number. If you start working out more or differently, you will burn calories differently. So don't worry, you don't have to stop eating.
