Question: I need motivation to help me improve my life, I am overweirght, can I get out of this rut!?
I cant hardly get myself to get out of bed in the morning, if I am up by 11 that is about the best I can do!. I put on a lot of weight with pregnancies and cant get it off!. I weighed 115 before I had kids and now I am 225!. I am so depressed about the way I look!. And the problem is compounded because no that I have these little stairstep aged children, and dont have a sitter, I cant get out and use my body as I use to! I use to hike, swim, skate, walk, ride a bike, ect!. I was fairly active!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

This is a tough problem!. I have been in a very similar situation!. You need to stop focusing on weight loss and think of it as life improvements! Make one small commitment at a time!. And dont even think about picking out another commitment untill you are 100% confident you have mastered the currant one!. You might start by cutting out soda, and once you have mastered that you might throw in only one snack food a day, or no more burgers from fast food restaraunts!. And only weigh yourself about once a month, because if you try weighing weekly or even every few days, you wont see much change and you will be disscouraged!. And if you need a reason to do it, how about your health!? Obesety can be even more dangerous to a person then smoking!. It can cause diabeties, witch can lead to all sorts of other delilitating illness, and you are also at increaed risk for heart attack, stroke, and high blood pressure!. You are shaving years off you life!. You have kids, do you want to still be around to see your gradnkids!? This way can take a long time, but there is no easy quick fix, and this way will be permanant, you wont jut be loosing weight, you will be living better!. And as far as the kids stoping you from getting out, you are just going to have to find ways to include them!. Kids might even enjoy some of the same things you mention that you use to do, and as long as non of the kids are actually infants then they can probably do things better then you think!. Also, force yourself out of the be in the morning, push the bed near the window and leave the blinds open so the sun shines in your face, set the alarm clock and put in somewhere that you have to get up and go across the room to shut it off!. Simply put, you need an active hobby!. If you have children they should be outside playing anyway so just set an hour everyday to go play with your kids!. This will quickly turn into two hours and so on!. Plus you will be having a good time and not thinking of it as a "workout", keeping it from being monotonous!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You need to get a friend and start walking and cut down on carbs!. get a membership at the ymca and swim or just exercise in the water that will help on the keep the weight off of the knees and ankles!. make sure you have plenty of protein around when you get hungry!. try the adkins diet you will be able to eat more and loose!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well, WHat tends to work for most people is taking fat burners!. Are they nearly are is a bunch of caffeine and other junk!. That will deffinitly help get you going!. Even just getting the off brand off stay wake, or vivarin!. They contain 200mg of caffeine a piece!. Of course, like anything else people can misuse these, but if you take one here and there you should be fine!.

It sounds like you need that first big step in the right direction to take off!. Maybe invest in a work out tape, ball, they have all sorts of stuff these days to work out with while watching a work out tape!. Start off mall and work your way up!.

Can you find an exercise partner!? If you can, set an appointment to workout with them!. It's much harder to skip a workout when someone else is depending on you!.

1) don't require any equipment
2)can be done in your own home or while traveling
3)and you won't injure yourself doing them

Sounds like you need some energy!.!.!.Iron deficency test: Go to the mirror and pull your lower eyelid and see if the color is red or flesh color!. If its flesh colored you are lacking enough iron and should take a herbal iron like Floradix!. It will take a month to see a difference!. Iron carrys oxygen in your blood and if you dont have it you will feel tired, cold hands and feet, headaches, RLS, dull brittle hair, brittle nails, poor sleep, pale skin (see thru), shortness of breath, fatigue, poor concentration, low mood, ringing in the ears, cracks in the corner of the mouth, dizziness, fainting, sore tongue and canker sores oh and pale mucous membranes in lower eyelid!.

A good energy smoothie that I use for muscle building and so I never feel sore after working out!.
I use only frozen fruit because of where I live!.
16-18 oz glass
5 cubes of pineapple
3 slices of peaches
5 strawberries
fill the rest with blueberries
microwave for 40 seconds then add 4 tsp of ground chia seeds, 2 tbs of black strap molasses,
tbs of wheat germ, 1tsp of spirullina, 25 grms of ISOPURE orange protien powder and then i just cover the berries with hemp milk or almond!. 1 gram of Acia berry powder!.

Then I blend with hand mixer til mixed!.

Check into gyms around your area regarding babysitting service!. I know that most of the major gyms around here offer a daycare service, free of charge, during particular hours!.

Get an iPod if you don't have one, find those songs that really motivate you and make you want to dance!.

Simply get working out again!. Once you start back up, going back will become easier each time!.

Find a way to discipline yourself!. For instance, I can't stand growing facial hair!. I keep my razor and shaving cream in my locker at the gym!. I am not able to shave my facial hair unless I make that trip to the gym!. That provides me the extra push for the days I feel like slacking off!.

And remember, if you don't see results right away, don't get discouraged!.!.they're well on their way if you exercise consistently!

I do a, idk, routine of exercises everyday (30 push-ups, 75 sit-ups, and stretching; don't worry, I started small)!. When I first decided to start this, I told my whole family and asked for their support, because I knew that I would forget, or be lazy and stop (it's happened to me b4, three times)!. My parents thought it was a gr8 idea and told me they would try to remember to remind me if I forgot!. So far, I've even managed to get my younger brother to start exercising!. Anyway, the thing that made this time a success was my handy-dandy calendar!. I have a plain old calendar, where I write everything that I did that night (as in # of exercises and which ones)!. I try to be consistent and when I can, I raise my expectations to, say 75 sit-ups in stead of 70!. And if I miss a day, I put a big fat X on the calendar!. That's all, I hope it helps!
