Question: I am fighting my caffeine addiction any tips!?
Okay, in 3 weeks I go to Army boot camp where I can't drink coffee!. A big mug in the morning has been a part of my daily routine!. I never drank coffee at any other time during the day!.

Today is my first day without and I have been very sleepy and had a monster headache!. Anyone know any healthy alternatives or how many days I'll deal with the headache and almost this drunkeness without coffee!? I feel so out of tune and almost a bit dizzy like coffee brought focus to my day and helped me work!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I just finished coming off the caffeine addiction, and my best friend for the first week was ice-cold water and sweet-tea!. Sweet tea has less caffeine than coffee, energy drinks, and diet sodas!.

The good thing is that with summer comes heat, and nothing makes you feel cooler than a big glass of ice water!. Drinking ice water in the winter just doesn't have the same affect!. I would switch up the water with sweet-tea every now and then!. This will give your body a small amount of caffeine to allow you to wean yourself off it!.

If the headaches become unbearable, I would try a Goodies or BC Headache powder!. Check with you doctor before you take it!.!.!.!.I don't know your health history and there may be some issues!.

You have not consumed enough caffeine to be addicted!. It is actually all in your mind!.

If you have the normal metabolism, in 6 hours, most of the caffine is gone!. In 12 hours, almost none is left!. THAT means!.!.!. everyday, you drink a huge mug, then 12 hours later, you had no caffine in your system!. Did you feel anything then!?

I think you should be fine after few days!.

If not, then my advise to you is to get regular and decaf!. Mix them 1/2 and 1/2 for the first day!. (trust me, your body won't know the difference) Then go 3/4 and 1/4!. Keep at this level for few days!. Then go all decaf!. After few days, quit completely!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Here are some good tips for not drinking coffee!.!.!.

1!. in the morning eat any fruit and drink water, or fruit drink!.

2!. drink maybe a power drink ( not energy drink like redbull or any of that stuff ) as in like gatorade powerade etc!.!.!.

3!. try to drink a drink that has caffeine free on the can or bottle!.!.!.!.!.!.!.

one cup, ha, I came off three pots a day!. You got one day so roll with it, should pass in 3-5 days at most!. Try decaf or some decaf tea, maybe chocolate milk, etc!. Something you will enjoy just as much!. You will find you think clearer and are not as edgy!. Best of luck in basic!Www@Answer-Health@Com
