Question: I am 17, and I need to start getting into shape, where do I start!?
I haven't really lifted before, but I could possibly get a membership to a gym!. Is there a decent gym system thing that I can invest in thats under $600!? Is running a good start!? Push-ups/pull-ups!?

stop drinking soda/pop!. Buy your self a men's health!. Start small and then work your way up!.
Join a gym, bring your ipod and work out!. I would say make an appt with a personal trainer!. So they can set you up with realistic goals to get you into shape!.

You shouldn't need to spend money!. With diet and simple exercise your metabolism should take the stage!. I would recommend you cut back your calories to 2200 a day and spend 1 to 2 hours exercising!. Try going for a 45 minute jog and then performing push-ups and sit-ups!. Also try to stop eating carbs after 8pm!. Another good piece of advice is eat more carbs in the morning and slowly cut back during the day!. if you want to look very muscle full then start with weight lifting so you can turn some of the fat into muscle!.
if you wan to look just skinier just jog everyday and take care of your alimentation!.

running, push/pull-ups are a good start, and dont forget frog hops(squats where u jump, i think thats wats its called) because basically all the workouts are an extension of them!. remeber not to rest for more than a minute inbetween setsWww@Answer-Health@Com
