Answers:
obviously these two guys above don't know what the heck they are talking about!. You don't need to get sore in order to get a good workout and gain muscle mass!. You need to make sure though that your workout is progressing and as you said have perfect form and such!. So if you feel like you can get more weight on there then add some on!. You always need to stress your muscles!. You might get sore, but if you feel like you have progressed and didn't get sore afterall, don't worry, you are more likely doing the right thing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

soreness is not related at all to the effectiveness of the workout!.

being sore after a workout simply means you've just done something your body is not used to doing!.!.!.even if youre doing the same exercise, and you get sore but you didnt all of the other times you did that exercise, you must have done it for longer or worked more intensely at it!.

so ill repeat, soreness has absolutely NOTHING to do with the effectiveness of a workout, and not being sore doesnt mean you didnt get a good workout!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes you can!. Muscle soreness is not a good indicator of the effectiveness of a workout!. A good indicator is if you made progress in your workout, whether it's the number of reps or weight lifted or the distance/speed run or swam, etc!.!. Each workout should be an improvement over the last, that's how you know you're making progress!.

Every few weeks it's a good idea to change around the workout to prevent the body from adapting to your routine!. This can be a simple matter of swapping exercises, the number of reps done, or changing the order of lifts!. You should be going to failure at least on the last set!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm sure you gained from the workout!. It depends on how hard/how long you worked out though!.

If you feel you are in really good shape and work out a lot, your body may not be soar from working out every time!. Usually when you get soar, it is the result of working your muscles harder and more than they are used to, being out of shape, not stretching, or not doing some sort of a cool down!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness) is caused by small tears in the muscle fibers!. Eccentric movements like bringing the bar down to your chest in a bench press are the main cause of these tears!.
Muscle groups like biceps and triceps heal faster than say your back muscles since they are smaller so you are not likely to end up with sore biceps the next day!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

the soreness is what tells u you're gaining!. muscles tear so they can grow!. no tear or sorness equals no gain!. add weight, do more sets or more repsWww@Answer-Health@Com
