Lowfat high quality protein - (skinless chicken breasts, salmon, most any fish, shrimp, lean pork, lean beef, lowfat - non fat dairy, LF cottage cheese, NF milk, NF plain yogurt, beef jerky is a good snack if you're not worried about sodium!.

Complex carbs - (Whole grain breads, whole wheat pastas, beans)

Veggies and Fruits - the best are dark green leafy vegetables, peppers, spinach, broccoli, tomatoes, asparagus, artichokes, berries, raspberries, strawberries, blackberries and melons!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Progresso has soups that are 0 weight watcher points (per serving) and the southwest chicken is awesome!
I'm also a big fan of the South Beach Diet pre made box lunches (by the deli packaged meat)!. They are really good and only on average 240 calories per package!. I also like to have easy to prepare things on hand so I can throw together a lunch for work or have low cal snack when I get the urge to munch at home!. Pre packaged tuna cups in water (not oil), carrot stick packages, bagged salad, whole grain crackers, any whole fruit (not canned in syrup), chicken breasts, whole grain bread (make sure to read the label on the back - it's easy to pass off junk bread as wheat)!. I also like the precooked chicken strips that are in the prepackaged deli meat section!. I throw a few in a pan (sprayed with butter flavored Pam) for a couple minutes and then it's hot chicken strips on top of salad mmmmm, and yogurt!.!.!.!.!.Oh, and look for Laughing Cow cheeses! They are awesome and the cheese spreads (for your whole grain crackers) only have 35 calories a package!. Sometimes they are hard to find - they are usually by the organic and natural foods!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

foods with a low GI (glycaemic index) value!. Therefore wholemeal EVERYTHING (i!.e!. bread, pasta, rice) keep away from processed food of any sort, also remember any food that claims to be low fat is almost certainly high in sugar (therefore has a high GI value!)
Foods with a low GI value will give you sustained energy for longer, giving you more energy, fill you up quicker and for longer!. Also, remember eating carbohydrates with a good quality source of protein (such as fish, lean chicken or very lean meat) will help to lower a carbs GI value!.
Make sure you still get plenty of fruit and veg, throw in some exercise and you can't go wrong! The pounds may not come off as quickly as some fad diets, but they are far more likely to stay off!Www@Answer-Health@Com

If your like me and don;t have an unlimited source of money I say you consider frozen food, like mixed veggies and frozen fruit!. Mixed veggies can be added to tuna sandwich, or as a side!. The frozen fruit can be made into a smoothie for breakfest or added to hot cereals in the morning as well!. There are frozen boneless skinless chicken that is so easy to prepare and doesnt have crazy chemicals that can have long term effects!. Your on a great start by asking people whats out there, but alot of it can be expensive- consider frosen!. Oh and canned can also be good, just make sure to keep an eye on sodium content on everything in your cart!. Stay away from high frutose products!. hope this helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
