Motivating myself to hit the gym after work?

My gym is on the ground floor of the building I work in, and I like to try and go after I leave work at approximately 4-5 pm. It makes sense to go then because I can work out, go home and eat dinner, shower, relax for a while, and then go to sleep at a reasonable hour. Also I usually can't go before work (I like to get in at 8:30 am) because that requires I wake up too early than I like to.

The trouble is, I usually feel really mentally exhausted after work- so much so, that going to the gym is such an unappealing concept that I usually can only convince myself to go for 30-45 minutes a few days a week- if that.

Any reccomendations?


Answers:

After work is really the best time, because it gives your mind the time to unwind. At this time, you can just think about the hotties in the gym, and let your mind release all the tensions of the day.

When you go home, you will feel refreshed, and not have issues with the family, because you can think straight. After work is the way to go.
