Yes. I do them daily and they are the best. By the way when you open your arms more while doing push ups, it focuses more on the pecs. Push Ups can be good as Bench Presses, they even have the same movements, but push ups don't weight stress on bones like Bench presses.

Its a core exercise that focuses also on arms and back so thats extra.

Plus what is you are away from home and you cant go to a gym for the time you are away?
