Ways to stop food cravings and fun ways to excercise?

I'm 14 years old and I'm 5'6" and I weigh about 145 lbs. I just want to reach a healthy weight but every time I try to lose weight I get food cravings and eat way to much. I also dont like excercising. What are some fun ways to excercise? I have a pool but sometimes I dont feel like getting wet so I need other ways. Please help. I've been trying for years and I'm starting high school next year and I'm tired of being the fat girl.

For one thing, you're not fat. I was your exact size at your age and was just right. What you need to focus on is not losing weight, but gaining muscle. If you tone up, you'll look slimmer, and be healthier. The pool is a great way to exercise, try it a few times a week - even if you're only doing stretches and resistance exercises. Another fast way to tone is Pilates, I swear by it. Just working 30 min/ 3x per week will show you results in no time. The key is to do everything slow, keep your tummy tight, and your alignment good. When you're doing it right you'll feel your whole body working at once, which can be tiring, but it works! Also think about dance lessons. I'm a dance instructor and you wouldn't believe the amount of fun we have dancing around to your favorite music. For the cravings just up your intake of water. Every time you get hungry grab a glass of ice water, it absorbs more quickly into your bloodstream and gives you a boost. Then do something that will take your mind off your hunger - reading, playing a game, going for a walk, hanging out with friends. Make sure you're getting small meals throughout the day.
