Question: I'm overweight can you help me!?
i have a big problem!. i am overweight, and people are always telling me i have to exercise and go on a diet!. i know i have to and i do, but i can't stick with it! it's really hard for me! i even heard some of my friends talking about my weight and i got so upset that i ran into the bathroom and cried!. are they bad friends or are they just concerned!? how can i stick with my diet!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I lost a lot of weight by cutting fast-food and soft drinks out of my diet!. If you're having a hard time with a full diet regimen, just cut out a few things at a time!. (Soft drinks are a really good place to start!.) Your friends aren't necessarily bad for talking about your weight!. They're probably just concerned!. They shouldn't bring it up in a group within earshot of you though!. That's in poor taste!.

BTW: It's a lot easier to stick with a diet once you start seeing results! You'll feel better about you weight, and won't want to risk gaining it back by quiting your diet!. I would just take it slow and give it time to work!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You MUST convince yourself that it is for your own good!. So your friends have talked about you (they will always find something to talk about!.!.!.no one is perfect), but have YOU talked to a doctor!? Having some simple tests ran such as blood sugar, blood pressure, and cholesterol might open your eyes to the potential health problems you face!.

Find something you LIKE to do!. My mother was close to 300 pounds at 5'6 because of being on Lithium and eating junk!. She's lost close to all of it (she is down to about 140), and it is because she found something she likes to do: walk!. I like pilates because it is low impact!.

You have to learn to eat differently!. You don't have to live on rabbit food (and I don't know how ANYONE does that), but you do need to adopt a better attitude toward food!. If you could cut out 200 calories per day (quit drinking soda, for instance, if you drink it) and burn 200 calories per day you could start to lose weight!. Start drinking water!. Water does not make you retain water!.!.!.once you start drinking water, the pounds will start to come off because your body is no longer pressed to keep the water because of dehydration!. Soda is not hydration!.!.!.neither is most juice!. Diet soda is bad for you, too!.

They aren't bad friends, hon!. They care about you or they wouldn't worry!. Now the question is how much do YOU care about you!? Ask them to help you!. Ask them to start walking with you or something!.

but first, u shouldnt diet!.!.!.diets dont work and u have 2 make a life style change and never starve urself or go below 1600 calories!.!.!.just eat healthy!!!!!! and please never starve urself!
u should never feel hungry and ignore it!.!.!.eat when u are hungry! find foods that u enjoy eating that are healthy! dont eat foods u hate just cuz u think u "should" cuz its the "right" food to eat!.!.!.!.then u will always be motivated to just be healthy!.!.!.not diet!!.!.!.and its ok to eat cakes and chips and other "junk" foods!!! just as long as u dont overindulge! its not like u will gain weight from 1 day of eating all bad or having a piece of cake! it doesnt work like that! enjoy your food and u can EAT WHAT U WANT!

Just change your eating habits!. I have been a thin person all my life and have overweight friends!. I see the difference in my eating habit and theirs, although they are too close to the forest to see the trees (that is, reality)!.

Here are five simple suggestions:

1) Only eat when you are hungry and stop eating when you aren't!.!.!.!.!. If you can't finish everything on your plate, don't worry about the starving children in a third world country!. Gluttony won't help them a bit!. Gluttony is stubbornly continuing to eat even after you are full!. No snacking just for the sake of snacking! I don't get why people need to reach for that bag of chips or gallon of ice cream whenever they're in front of the t!.v!. Put down that junk food! The only time I snack is when it is between meals and I need something to tie me over, so that I don't expire from starvation!. I only need to snack maybe 1-3 times a week!. When you are feeling sad or any negative emotion, go read an uplifting book or listen to music, instead of reaching for food!.

2) Stop eating desert after every meal!.!.!.!.!. It's okay to satisfy your sweet tooth once in a while, but where is it written in stone you need a cookie or cheesecake with your lunch or dinner all the time!? I find that the more sweet stuff you eat, the more often you crave it!. I only have a craving for sweets once every one or two months!. When you eat that chocolate cake, eat only a slice!. You can have a big slice if you want, but only one slice!. It's gluttony to eat the whole cake in one sitting or within a day!.

3) Never go on ridiculous diets where you are constantly feeling hungry!.!.!.!.!. It will sabotage your effort!. Eat whatever you want until you are full, but follow #1 and 2!. My friends see me wolfing down a whole plate of pasta enough for two grown men and wonder where my weight goes!.

4) Don't eat an entire cheesecake and then make up for it by drinking diet soda!.!.!.!.!. I have friends who do that!. It's just ridiculous!. Drink water instead!. Diet soda, in fact, makes you gain even more weight!. You're better off drinking regular soda!.

5) When you are eating out at a restaurant, don't always eat the appetizer and desert with your main meal!.!.!.!.!. I usually order ONLY the main course because that is more than enough!. Haven't you noticed that restaurants usually give you super sized portions!? It is only on rare occasions that I get an appetizer and/or desert, like 1 out of 20 times!.

EDIT -- This is just a thought, but you might want to get Bragg's organic vinegar that has "the mother" in it and mix one or two tablespoons of it with raw, organic honey in a glass of water!. You can get them from any health food or whole food store!. It's healthy, helps your complexion, and aid food digestion!. Make sure you don't have a pre-existing ulcer problem, though!Www@Answer-Health@Com

HI! I know exactly what you are going through! Getting in shape is a very hard, long process which: I have not completed yet! I have a completely screwy time losing weight!. I have been on weight watchers for 17 weeks and have only lost 9 pounds!. A couple of things that help me are 1) Turbo Jam 2) The biggest loser workout videos 3) I swim almost every day!. Turbo Jam will probaly benefit you the most, because: Its fun and doesnt feel like a workout!. The biggest loser will benefit you because Its a VERY good workout(Very diffrent from turbo Jam) the biggest loser is more of a "bootcamp" workout and turbo Jam is more of a fun cardio workout!. Swimming works your whole body!. You need to do weight (strenght) training along with cardio!. Or else you wont be toned!. Plus weight lifting increases your muscle mass which increases your metabolism! To answer your questions your friends are good friends, they mean well, they just dont know how hurtful they are!. Also i forgot to metion, I do weight watchers too! that helps sooo much!.!.!. You really should go to the meetings though!. You can stick with your diet by putting a picture of the body you want on all your cubbords, or just ask yourself "would you rather eat this!? OR have a hot body!?" that works for me!. Sticking to a diet is very hard! I would log what you eat, EXACTALLY! and keep a journal for when you have crappy days when you hate yourself!.!. I do that and i plan on reading it when i lose weight so i dont go back to chubby way i was!. Also, set a goal mine is when i get a flat Stomach I am going to get my belly button peirced! For you it could be buy a convertable so you can look sexy driving through town!.!.!. or if your on my budget: buy yourself a nice designer outfit with matching bag, or get a makeover! or a tanning membership!
