Which is more accurate?!

Question: Which is more accurate!?
I am trying to lose weight in the stomach, butt, and thighs!. Which shoul I do, a bmi, or a measurement of those areas!? I'm 5'2 and 145!. My bmi is slightly overweight, but my doctor said that since muscle weighs more then fat, I should measure my areas with a tape measurer!. Also, how much do you think I would need to lose!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
im sure your not fat at all but u might want to loose some weight so your heart can be healthy and you can live longer!.!.!.!. but if you go on a diet dont go on a crash diet because you will end up gaining all of the weight back!.!.!.!.!. so just eat when your hungry and when you do eat eat really slow and drink water with your meals so you get full on water so you wont eat as much (make sure you stop when youre full)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Alright lets throw out all the crap that your Doctor said!. BMI is a crap measurement because it just goes off height and weight, this makes no sense to do because if you are tipping the scale and your short but still have low percentage of bodyfat your still considered at risk for heart disease!. A better measurement is bodyfat test, and hip to waist ratio!. This way you can be more accurate at the health risk!. And, muscle does not weigh more than fat!. It's more dense than fat!. If you get one pound of fat and one pound of muscle, they still weigh the same!. It's just that the muscle takes less space because the one pound of fat has more water in it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
