Did weight lifting do this?
I was 5'4 but after I started lifting weights I'm now about 5'3.5. Did this happen because of the weight I lifted and if so should I be concerned?

Might have depended upon what time of the day you measured yourself. After standing up all day your spine might compress just a bit, but after stretching out in bed all night it might bounce back. Try measuring yourself in the mornings when you first get up and see what you get and then compare that to some night time measurements. Based on this you might assume that after 30 days you might be either 6 feet tall or 4 feet tall, depending on when you took the measurements.
