Body Building?!

Question:

Body Building?

I'm 5'10', vietnamese, athletic/skinny build, 160 lbs.
I have been lifting weights for approximately a month, and i'm wondering why i'm not gaining much weight. i've already gained 10 lbs, but my target goal is to hit 180 by the end of the summer. is that even possible?

currently i'm working out 5 days a week: monday arms, wedsday chest, friday back, saturday shoulders, sunday abs.
i'm doing medium weights at 10 reps., 3-4 times.

my diet is 3 nutritional meals a day, with a couple protein bars a day.

is there anything i can change with my diet or work-out to help me bulk and gain some muscle weight by the end of the summer? any advice would be appreicated.

Answers:

You should change your routine. There is no need to work out 5 days a week unless you are a professional. You should eat 5-6 meals a day, but not like huge meals, small-medium sized ones. Protein bars/shakes can be used as meal replacements(if they are high in protein). You should eat a protein bar/shake 1-2 hours before your workout and then immediatly after.
