Hi! It depends on what diet you're on!. If on a low calorie diet, the veggies to avoid are pulses (lentils and butter beans, corn, etc) which are high in calories!. Also avoid parsnips, barley, turnips and similar high calorie root vegetables!.
If you are following a GI/GL diet as they provide heaps of energy and fibre and should be eaten in moderation!.
I make soup with whatever I have in the fridge, a stock cube, chopped onion, leeks, a couple of small new potatoes, celery, carrots, whatever greens are available (even frozen spinach), a handful of frozen peas and so on!.
I serve it in a nice big bowl, topped with a teaspoonful of low calorie Greek yoghurt or fromage frais and a leaf of parsley or coriander!.
It always provides a really warm filling lunch for me, and I reckon it's about 150 calories a generous bowl!.
Good luck with your diet!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Very good choice for lunch!.
Avoid starchy vegetables - like potatoes ( including sweet), carrots, squash!.!.!.!.
Use low carb pasta in it
Avoid olive oil - use low fat vegetable oil instead
If you choose the pre-made broths available at grocery stores, use the low-fat, low sodium version!.

Soups are a great diet tool, since hot liquids expand the intestine and make us feel satisfied!. I'd advice you to have it for dinner, though, it's light and doesn't have fat in it, so you sleep better and might lose a little more weight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
No that sounds fine!. you can combine pretty much any veg, but some veg like sweed will over power everything, no matter how much you put in all you will taste is sweed, so be careful with things like that!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
