Question: Good Diet for getting fit! Please help!?
okay, so i have been working out lately!. I was wondering what is the best diet to have!. I am more working on toning and firmness instead of getting like thoes freakish body builders!. I do cardio for my abs and various other exercises!. I am going for a six pack, pecks, good triceps and biceps, and good legs!. how much protein should i have in my diet and how much fat, like 40% protein, 40% carbs, 20% fat etc!.

does any1 know of any good diets!? or could suggest some!?

and one last thing, how does a good diet help you to loose/build muscle quicker!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think you forgot to mention what is your body build!. Try to eat little meals six times a day!. You need to develop your metabolism then you can adjust your calories from that!. Include fruits every time!. If you want to tone your abs fast then just eat vegetable salad with chicken breast at night and then drink a protein drink with fruit on your late snack!. For your protein intake, let say you are 180 lbs then you need to take at least 360 grams of protein a day!. Also for six packs, you need to train smart and not train hard!. You got your weight training to maintain your muscle so not you need to add cardio but make sure you need to monitor your heart rate and it needs to be 60%-70% of your heart rate and stay there!. Try to drink protein before you do cardio if your not going to workout so it will not use your muscle tissue as a fuel!. Also do your cardio after weight training!. I do threadmill 30 mins everyday in the morning then weight training in the afternoon for 30 mins and another 30 mins on the bike while watching movie on my ipod!. I train 1 body part per day so I don't stay long in the gym and I can focus on that body part to develop fast!. You need to eat carbs and protein after your weight workout!. Don't worry about counting the fat, just keep distance on oily food!.
