Question: Im 5'0 and 140 Pounds should I be starving myself!?

no, DO NOT STARVE YOURSELF!
i'm 5'3'', and i used to be 145 lbs, and i started starving myself and i became anorexic!.
i lost about 40-50 lbs but i did SEVERE damage to my body, and messed up my life!.
i didn't care about friends or family or school or anything anymore, my life was consumed by anorexia!.
and i almost died!.
do not starve yourself!.
it is not worth it!.
by the way, i've gained back alot of that weight, and i'm now 120 lbs, and at peace with my body for the most part, because now i know that i'm lucky to be alive!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

But eating right and exercising might be a better plan!

starving yourself slows down your metabolism!. it puts your body to the point to where you do finally eat something it will take everything from that food and store it as fat because your body is worried it will not get any food!. you may even gain a few pounds because your body is storing fat because of starvation!. to lose weight stick to fruits and veggies along with enough protein and carbs and walking every day at least will help too!.!.!.hope that helpsWww@Answer-Health@Com

No you shouldnt start starviing yourself since what it does it eats the fat of you and when u start eating again it stores it for an ocasion like the one above (starvation)!.

Try walking!.!.!. swimming!.!.!. and drinking lots of water and eating low portions of food ( make a fist and thats how big it needs to be if its bigger its too much)

Certainly not! Starving yourself is the worse thing to do! I would try to check with a nutritionist to get a diet thats right for your body or try to keep a 2,500-2,000 calorie a day diet!. If you starve yourself, your body thinks you are dying, and therefore stores MORE fat!. You should eat a snack or small meal every few hours to keep your metabolism going!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
