It would really be a goal specific solution. If you were a powerlifter for example you should be lifting heavy for a few max lifts. Were you a soccer player perhaps not so much. In fact there are other sports where the extra muscle would slow you down and ruin your times like in track and field events. So it all really depends on why you're lifting. Once you can answer that you can consult with other people in that area of expertise and determine if you're in the right ballpark so to speak.
