Change of diet to reduce wait and tummy?!
Question: I am 64 years old. height 5' 2" weight 67 Kgs. I want to reduce my tummy (Girth at waist is 38").
Morning I have 5 IDli / 3 Chapathis
Afternoon Half tumbler rice (measure before cooking) Sambar / rasam / Vegetable
Night 3 Chapathis with vegetable
In between some tit bits
Morning and evening coffee.
No exercise. I have problem of walking

It is too late to think on diet as well as excercise. Better practice yoga as well add some more salads and fruits instead of taking rotties in night. Stay away from evening coffee and switch over to fresh fruit juices. Get rid of tit bits and snacks with coffee in 4.
try consuming other food, tosai is healthier compare to chapathis. and yes, eat more fruits and veges + drink lotsa water. other than your normal titbits, try healthy snacks maybe: salad, an apple, oatmeal, but not hi-carb snacks like biscuits/bread.
at night, maybe u can eat more veges, or try making urself some soup - vegetables soup, minestrone - minus the cheese and pancetta
seriously, cut down on chapathis and coffee (drink plain water is the best, and fruit + vege juices)
your diet is perfectly ok. you need not revise it. what you need is exercise. see age is no barrier. you need to go for morning walk. dont run. do yoga. go for walk in evening as well. i bet your tummy will be in shape in a month. exercise otherwise is also quite useful and must. it prevents many other unforseen diseases as well which no one likes. so its all for yur good. eat a lot and do plenty of exercise.
it would be better if you do all this at some green place or so away from polllution and killing traffic.
AS per Std ur tummy is Ok, Reduction is not possible at ur age,it could lead serious problem, do yogasanas like pranayama, kapalabati, Watch ramdev yoga in T.v & do the same.
