I gained 4 lbs in one day?!

Question: i weighed myself this morning and i was like 164..now im like pretty much 169, and its 5 oclock,
we have been having a barbeque all day and ive been eating chips and dip and chicken etc. is it possible its just because im bloated? when will it go away?
the thing is...i was like 170 before and i got down to 162 really recently...will i gain the weight back faster because i just recently lost it?
how many lbs can you actually gain in a day?

What you are seeing is normal fluctuation. This can happen even on a day when you ate almost nothing. Only weigh your self once per week at most. Do it at the same time each time. If you want to be really honest with yourself do it in the late afternoon or early evening. If you only want good news then do it first thing in the morning.

You will gain the weight back fast if you go around nibbling at a barBQ. You have to stay in control and intentional about what you eat if you want to keep the weight off.

it won't be fat!
c'mon, 3500 calories is fat so there is no way you can put that on in a day really, unless it's xmas. even if you do, it's only a pound. you won't have put on any weight today
you always weigh less in the morning and plus its what's inside you aswell which counts to what you weigh!
it'll be water also. just weigh yourself once a week at the same time every week to see if you're losing or putting on weight
best of luck.

no somethimes you weight just changes a few pounds [up to like 6] during the day depending on how full you are. dont worry youre fine.

could be water weight
