Trying-TRYING to lose 20-25 pounds but not succeeding!!! HELP! =(?!

Question: I am 5'3, 153 or 150 pounds. Clothes add weight, and 12 going on 13 in a month.
I want to weigh between 120-130.
I am serious-I CANNOT LOSE WEIGHT!!!

I want to lose a lot of tummy fat-fat in my chin-arms-really everywhere.

I have tried to go on the eliptical (weight machine) every single day for 15 or 20 minutes, I go outside-play basketball-ride my bike! NOTHING IS WORKING WITH THE SCALE!

Am I going insane?
Can you people help me lose weight, exercises and tell me about nutrition (what to eat-what not to eat-exercises)?

I am just not losing any weight. I want to lose 20-25 pounds before the next school year starts (August).
Please HELP!

I will seriously LOVE you if you give me info and exercises that ACTUALLY WORK!
Please! Thanks!

It is great that you are exercising regularly, because it will keep you toned and fit. But in order to lose weight, you also have to cut back on your food. Exercise alone is not enough.

First, please remember that you are STILL GROWING! You have to be careful about not losing weight too quickly, and don't go on any crash diets. Your body needs good nutrition!

Your best bet is to cut back on "white" foods....bread, pasta, rice, potatoes, etc. You can eat carbs, but make it healthy carbs like fruit, veggies, and whole grain products.

For beverages, cut out the juice, if you drink it. Juice has a lot of calories and sugar. You're better off eating fruit. In fact, your best bets for beverages are water and lowfat milk. Don't drink diet soda on a regular basis, because it makes you crave sweets. A diet Coke here and there is okay, but don't have it every day. If you can bring yourself to drink flavored seltzer, it gives you the "bubbly" feeling of soda, without the artificial sweeteners.

Don't snack after dinner, and don't eat dinner too late.

Don't skip any meals....it actually makes your metabolism slow down, so you lose LESS weight.

Watch your portion sizes. A "serving" of meat is a piece the size of the palm of your hand (without the fingers!). There should be some empty space on your plate, and don't have any second helpings.

You only need to lose 5 pounds a month to achieve your goal. This is very realistic, and a safe pace at which to lose weight. Don't diet......just make some changes in the way you eat and drink, and you can do it!

Losing weight is not easy. But here are few tips that helped me:
Try not to eat at restaurants, if you do take a salad.
Cut out soda COMPLETELY.
No candies or chips.
Drink lots of water.
Work out at least 4 or 5 times a week.
Eat veggies and fruits.
Eat lean meet such as fish and chicken
If you have any questions contact me, i would be glad to help you out. I'm currently trying to lose about 10 pounds. Good luck

Check out Prevention Mag online and Womens Health Mag online. Both offer helpful tips and information from professionals on everything from what foods help boost metabolism, the best ways to workout, how shorter workouts are more beneficial than long ones, various exercises you can do (even if you only have 10 minutes), easy ways to cut calories from your diet, how to target areas, etc. These two sites helped me lose, and keep off, over 60 pounds.

Try cutting down on junk foods, and soda too, if you cut out soda completely you'll guarantee weight loss, and try not to eat right before you go to sleep at night. Also I would suggest running for about 15-30 mins a day. By running you'll lose weight all around.....Good Luck, I hope this helps...

I would suggest a cleansing diet. I did this and lost 12 pounds and 17 inches in 9 days and then 28 pounds in about a month. I like the program since it works by giving your body nutrition through protein shakes with digestive enzymes and vitamins and then cleansing out the toxins. We get toxins in our bodies from pesticides, preservatives, water, pollution, medications, food additives etc
