if you are only walking and going on an eliptical it may not be enough. weight/ resistance training is about as necessary as cardio when it comes to fitness. also you may need to increase your intensity in your workouts.

food may also be an issue. i applaud you for cutting out junk food, which is filled with empty calories. lean protein and HEALTHY fats can help you gain muscle, which will in turn burn fat. all in all you have to make sure your diet is balanced, or else your work will be for nothing because your body will not be healthy.

5'5" and 150lbs does not seem too "fat", you may want to get your body composition checked. most gyms will check it for you for a small fee, or if you are a member for free. they can check your body fat percentage and give you tips on a healthy range that you should shoot for.

I Know What you Mean i've been Dieting For about 7 Months Now i've lost 94 Pounds and i Weigh 157 and i'm 5'4 and i would like to know that too lol.. but my main problem is extra skin yuck but i would say just take it slow and keep exercising and it will build up your muscle tone and burn fat but if you are made kinda big then your not ever going to be tiny like some people.

Are you eating healthy? Because if you simply don't eat you are only going to make things worse. That is the bad thing about diets, everyone thinks it is about eating less. You need to eat the same amount, just healthy. Working out and eating right will help a lot.
