I'm following a diet and exercise but I want to incorporate a good fat burner as well.

ok, no lectures. I have tried a few. hydroxycut used to be good, but the new formula makes it garbage.

Before a competition, I use an ECA stack, the absolute best fat burner you can use.

it consists of:
24 mg ephedrine ( buy it from your sports nutrtion place or your pharmacist. It is marketed these days as a decongestant, and sold in 8 mg tablets.
400 mg caffeine pills
1 low dose aspirin ( the kind heart patients take on a daily basis.

This stack is super cheap and super effective, both as a fat burner and appetite supressant. Take it about 1/2 hour before your workout and you will sweat!!

It will cause jitters, and you WILL be cranky, but it is effective. NOT for long term use 9 6 weeks, max)

Remember, there is no magic pill. you must still eat sensibly and exercise. Fat burners are meant for the last few stubborn pounds and are not meant to be a quick or easy fix for dropping 50 pounds.

The ECA stack is what all the girls that I know use before a competition to get their body fat as low as possible. We use it in the last 6 weeks before competition. DINK LOTS of WATER!!!!!

BTW , Timothy, regarding VASOCONSTRICTION.... this is part of the normal exercise response. iT has nothing to do with your stomach shrinking....

During exercise, blood flow redistributews away from the abdominal area through VAsoconstriction ( a narrowing of the arteries). Blood flow INCREASES to the working muscles through VASODILATION ( a widening of the arteries.) Vasocontsriction takes place during all exercise with or without a fat burner.

Magnesium Citrate

You can buy it at CVS for like 2.00 and it works the best and does nthing to your heart or body! It is basically just like IPECAC, except it will come out the other end...lol!

If you want to burn fat the only way of doing it properly is by exercise. I know people don't like it because it is work but "if you want to took pretty you got to suffer" there is no 'MAGIC PILL" that will solve this problem some things on the market actually but on weight

Exercise.

WTF..don't tell you about the dangers...if you already know then you should already know NOT TO TAKE THEM...they don't work. Most of them are just so overloaded with caffiene, you might as well drink 5 cups of coffee and save your damn money...

THERE IS NO MAGIC PILL TO LOSE WEIGHT!! GET OUT AND EXERCISE!!!

Not just you, anyone reading this who is thinking the same thing.

As a matter of fact (by the way) magnesium citrate can cause you to go into tacharythmia.

"fat burners" supress appetite by making your body basically go into shock. You get the jitters because it raises the amount of adrenaline in your system on top of the massive amounts of caffiene and sugar. They also cause vaso-constriction (restriticted blood vessels) and "shrink" your stomach (this is all do to it being a diuretic..this is the whole "lose your appetite" thing)

So if you want to take things that routinely damage your body then by all means try some fat burners...kind of the opposite of trying to get into shape and and living a healthy lifestyle if you ask me though.

Ok..
THEN WHY ASK ?!?

there is a big difference between doing something with a chance of having harmfull side effects or consequences and doing something thet YOU KNOW, WILL, have harmful side effects and consequences....I n everyday life, usually you choose the risks where the benefits outweigh the costs. In the case of taking a "fat burner" that you know will not help you become healthy, in fact has an extremely good chance of doing the opposite....

So you think because you have a healthy heart...these dangers do not pertain to you...then you need to do a little more research before you speak.

Like I said anyway..by all means if you want to take them, do it.. I won't lose any sleep at night worrying whether or not your healthy. I had my one chance to tell you it's a stupid idea and if you didn't listen......

they have a whole website dedicated to people who decided to make dumb decisions...it's called the darwin awards.

yes this is correct, the blood vessels contract anyway during exercise, but it is very different when your blood vessels are constricted from lack of oxygen during a work out causing the bronchiole in your lungs to work harder thus increasing their function, and having your blood vessels contracted by an outside source only causing higher blood pressure which makes it more dangerous to workout hard. Why do you think so many people have just keeled over dead in the middle of strenuos activity while taking ephedrine?

and yes....the same thing in the ephedrine that causes the vaso-constriction (read carefully next time, vasoCONstriction, blood vessel REstriction) causes the stomach to shrink. Not the same thing, but caused by the same thing

You do know that this is my job, right? I have been through 6 years of school for this and I have worked as a Naval Hospital Corpsman for 8 years.....I didn't just look this up on the internet and I am not trying to bullcrap anyone. I am answering this for the mere fact that people need to understand the truth before they do something stupid and hurt themselves....but I'll say it again.. I can tell you what you need to know till I'm blue in the face (or my fingers fall off from typing) but if it isn't what you WANT to hear and you choose to do it anyway, then be my guest.

Fat Burners will screw up your metabolism and make it harder to lose weight.
Save your money and continue to eat healthy and exercise.
