Question: Crunches don't work. Reduce your simple carbohydrate consumption, and replace with more protein.

Answers: Crunches don't work. Reduce your simple carbohydrate consumption, and replace with more protein.

Crunches don't really burn fat in certain areas, including the abdominal area. Burning energy overall will do that. And the fat will decrease over the whole body, not just one area.

It's been said though that stress can increase fat in the abdominal to thigh area. Living better may help.

Crunches will work on your muscles but they won't make you lose fat. Good ol' cardio excersize will get the fat off you and then your abs will show anyway. Everyone has abs, it's just the fat thats covering it.

Cardio and diet. Eating healthy and doing the occasional jogging, or cycling, even walking will help cut the fat and tone your body. Depending on your fitness back ground 30 mins of cardio 5x a week will help.

Good Luck
