Quick and Easy Lunch Ideas for work..?!


Question: Hi! I would like some ideas on healthy and quick lunches/dinners I can take to work, I work from 4pm-11 or midnight so its really like dinner...But I need something healthy because I've been working on losing weight and I dont want to go to Taco Bell..haha.

So something tasty and easy that I can throw in my lunch box, something to keep me going besides the obvious carrot and celery sticks and sandwiches.

1. broccoli and cheese packets (easy and healthy)
2. fruit bowl (oranges, grapes, strawberries)
3. pasta (with mixed vegies in it)
4. turkey/chicken salad
5. protein shakes

smaller meals throughout that time at work would be healthier

I've been taking a salad with nuts or seeds to work for the last month or so. It has been really practical so far, not a lot of prep time, and very healthy. Try to avoid the microwave "healthy" meals because many of then contain a ton of sodium!

Just a raw egg and a milk pack will do. At work, break the egg in the milk (in a glass), stir and drink at one gulp. Afterwards, I eat those granny cookies. At work I have to steer clear from a heavy feeling in the stomach. A raw egg gives energy instantaneously. It is quick, like you asked, and by the way, I cannot stand bread. Bread/sandwiches make me heavy.

You've seen lunchables before? Well take some crackers, cheese, pepperonies, and make bite size cracker sandwhiches out of them.

take salad in a fresh container with an ice-pak, and carry small thing of dressing with you.
