If you're looking to increase height in your jump then you need to work on plyometrics. That is actually jumping and rebounding. You can start on a trampoline or in the water to help start you off...then take the feeling to the ground and work on it from there. Try marking a spot on the wall you want to reach and practice jumping to that height. The more you do it the quicker you'll get to where you want to be.
You'll also need to balance this with strength training and cardio.
Good luck to you!
Jumping from a stand still onto a platform. Start low and work your way up.
I would suggest- free standing vertical jumps- maybe using light ankle weights and gradually increasing amount, squats, leg presses, leg curls, calf exercises, and don't forget to stretch-before, and after.
