Diet plans!?!?!

Question: i am currently looking for a diet plan that is FREE and works. anyone have any suggestions?
btw, im going to do ab excercises if that has to contribute to anything at alll
also, i go to a schoool and have to bring lunch so i cannot make a fancy recipe.

There is no magic diet plan, you just need to cut out all the crappy stuff you eat.

Eat like this and you'll lose weight guaranteed:

Cut:
Flour (noodles, bread, cereal, etc)

Sugar (soda, candy, juice, bananas and other high GI fruit, etc)

Fried foods (chips, fries, most takeout food)

You should eat:
turkey/chicken breast
salmon/tuna
lots of veggies (not potatoes)
almonds
egg whites
skim milk and cottage cheese
sting cheese is a great tasty snack

Keeping carbs to a minimum, you can eat a few servings of organic whole wheat bread and whole wheat tortillas/wraps. Brown rice is also fine in sensible servings.

Aim for 6 x 250 calorie meals/snack, one every 2-3 hours to keep the metabolism up. Drink at least 1 gallon of water a day and take a multi-vit/mineral with breakfast.

Basically, you want to eat as natural and unprocessed as possible. If the ingredients list has more than a handfull of items in it, don't eat it.

As for exercising without going to a gym, try H.I.I.T style cardio. It's basically going easy for one minute, balls out the next, etc.

Start with like 10 minutes of power walking / sprinting.

Power walk for 1 minute
Sprint for 1 minute
Power walk for 1 minute
Sprint for 1 minute

and so on for 10 minutes, adding 1 minute each day.

It completely amps up your metabolism.

don't go on a diet

Don't bother with the ab exercises. All they do is slowly strengthen the abs, but they don't burn enough calories to reduce the fat that surrounds them. Lowering overall bodyfat via intensive cardiovascular workouts is much more effective.

Let's not use the D-word. "Nutrition" is better. It's not rocket science. Eat 1,500-2,000 calories a day, lots of fruit and veg, "white" meats are better than "red" meats, brown bread is better than white, don't eat fatty foods etc.

"You'll lose weight guaranteed". Yes, as long as you're EXERCISING as well.

Eat right and exercise. Seriously - that's the only thing that works. Bonus - it's free!

Google how many calories you should eat to lose weight based on your stats. Then, follow that. Make sure you eat a balanced diet full of vegetables, lean protein, low fat or fat free dairy, and limited sugar/alcohol.

You need to do aerobic exercise to burn fat. Crunches will help make your abs stronger, but will do very little to your shape. Try to increase your heart rate at least 3 times a week for 30 minutes. If you can, you should lift on alternative days. Lean muscle burns more fat, and shapes/tones your body.

EDITED: If you want to pay, you can do Weight Watchers. You said free, so I gave you free. WW works, but I pay for it - and basically told you exactly what you need to do.

true I would agree on no magic diet plan or PILL, but you have to see what works best for you.

This is what worked for me, I listed my complete plan here

Eat a balanced diet, lean protein, fresh fruits/veggies, some carbs ( a little occasional junk food is fine, otherwise you will go crazy) Eat about 1800-2000 calories a day, 300-400 per meal, 4-6 times a day ( eating every 3-4 hours keeps the metabolism up) 20-30 minutes of cardio a day 4-5 days a week, and situps/crunches 2-3 times a week. Lean turkey, chicken, fish is great protein. As for carbs, small amounts with each meal, rice, potatoes ( not potato chips....haha) wheat bread,....etc. You get the idea. A good healthy diet is ablout 50% protein/30% carbs/20% fat. Remember, small portions, spread over the day, and don't crash diet. It doesn't work. I hope I helped you.

I came across this great product for weight loss (all nautral) and it was excellent for me (it's a detox colon cleanse). Together with a good diet and exercise I am finally happy with my body and the way I look. You should check this product at

I'm trying to lose weight too and it's sooo hard. My aunt is using a weight loss product and it's really working for her (100% natural). I'm gonna try it and I recommend you try it too. It's really a colon cleanse, and it's a healthy way to detox, not like most diet pills. Check their website at
