What sort of health benefits are there from having a daily walk?!

It helps you maintain a healthy weight, tone muscles and strengthen your heart as well as your bones. Walking helps to reduce stress and helps to calm your emotions. You feel better and you look better; therefore, walking is a great thing to do for yourself. You will also discover that you are sleeping better at night and awakening refreshed and ready for whatever the day may bring.

i run a mile or more each morning and sometimes at night...

but there are benefits to walking to...

obvioulsy it keeps blood circulating...and its healthy...good wat to lose weight
just walk....everyday...and cut back on food....easy...

keep weight down, good for your vital organs, also good for de-stressing and for your mental wellbeing if you walk somewhere nice like beside a river

Walking help lower my blood presure

Walking is a great exercise for your heart, lungs, muscle, joints and overall mental health. There is no better exercise, really, because it is quite safe. You will notice your heart doesn't race when you walk more often and you just feel better in general. It is excellent for people with arthritis and heart disease. So keep up your walking, it really is good for you.

Keeps you fit, gets air in to your lungs, and the government do not tax for it.

You get to see nature and the turning of the seasons, its great for your mental health and your mind.

If you walk that much you should be fit as a fiddle. Walking is very good for you. They say it's better then jogging. Not exactly sure what benifits except good health. :D You're welcome.

Fresh air, and benefits your heart and lungs. Power walking is sipposed to be better for you though than just strolling (not that I follow my own advice !!)

They say before you criticise or abuse you should walk a mile in their shoes. Which I think is a great idea because if anything does go down you'll be a mile away and you'll have their shoes! brilliant.

Its great cardio if your fast walking , keeps diabetes at bay , your whole body will like it, no extra weight to clog your arteries etc.. I'm sure there is much more , I try and walk 30 minutes per day myself. Just wish she was here to walk with me but that's out of the question for now I think ( sad )

ive started walking everyday and ive lost almost 30lbs.
