A 16-year-old wanting to dunk :)?!
Question: So far I'm about 5'10" WITH shoes. I'll probably grow to be about 6ft minimum. Anyways, I weigh 155lbs. I'm aiming to lose about 10-12 lbs jump roping. Do you think losing this weight would help my vertical jump along with jump roping?
For dunking these are the exercises I'm doing every other day:
-200 calf raises (with a gym machine)
-200 squats (gym machine also)
-50 jumps with me jumping as high as I could
^Good routine?
I'm about 3 inches away from touching the rim. Since I can jump that high, how long do you think it would take before I can touch the rim or dunk?

it will be better if you get some leg wheights and jump with them on so who you lose your wheight your body will be use to lifting more
