Not Eating Enough?!?!


Question: i usually dont eat alot during the day. not that i dont want to i just can't?!

this is usually what i have ((im in school still ))

plain beagle w/sunnyD
tradition chex mixw/ south beach bar
but i usually dont eat dinner... may stop for a slad or fruit...
and i have alot of redbull/water/gatorade...im an athlete...

is that bad

ALSO:::

im a vegan too so its hard to add protien..
sometimes i have postachios or quaker oats snacks...
i might have a salad or a clementine but for dinner its not too big.. i might stop and Buger King...sometimes i have meat but not alot so i guess im not a true vegan..:(

Yes, it's horrible, as a matter of fact. Not only do you not eat enough, but you don't eat anything nutritious. Also, the bagels and Southbeach bar are most likely not vegan, so, if that is your concern, just ditch it, and start eating for health and athletic performance.

Add soy milk or skim milk, fortified cereals, steamed edamame (soy beans), REAL juice (100% juice, not "juice drink" or anything else that says fructose or sugar in the ingredients), peanut butter sandwiches, steamed and fresh veggies, soy yogurt, bean chili, baked potatoes, etc. Also, read the label on the gatorade and red bull - it is all sugar (or fake stuff if you drink Sugar Free Red Bull), that is, really $#!++y stuff you're putting in your body.

You will notice that if you start eating every 2.5-3 hours (only has to be like 200-300 calories each) , even though you are not hungry and it is something small, your athletic performance will increase dramatically, and you will feel like you have more energy and need less refined sugar.
