Speeed up this weight loss....?!


Question: Since the very end of december I have lost 20 pounds but this is wayyyy too slow for me. I want to lose weight faster but i dont know how. I have a hard time knowing what to eat because food tastes so good to me haha. Most of my exercise is through sports practice. So I have been cutting down the food intake and exercising good or else I wouldnt have lost weight.

I just want to know how to make this weight dissapear faster (healthily) and have it more noticeable. thanks

I'm happy to see you put the word "healthily" in there, because that's really important.

If you're already active (3-5 times a week for an hour or more) then it may be your diet that is causing slow weight loss, even though 20lbs from December is really impressive, so I say GOOD JOB.

Try to cut down sugar intake, fried food (no McDonald's for sure!), increase the vegetables, fruits and water. Also make sure your not eating more calories then you are burning. Be conscious that your not eating "empty" calories as well, these are foods with high calories but little nutritional value such as white rice/bread.

And increasing cardiovascular exercises always burns more calories, and make sure your doing different types of exercises because your body adapts if your doing the same things over and over, which will cause you to plateau!

but to me......it seems your on the right track, 20lbs in 4 months is awesome.

thats a lot of weight, you should be happy with your results so far. it dosent come off any faster than that healthly. alot of it was prob water too. just keep doing what your doing. weight loss is a slow, tedious, and frustrating process and u need to understand that or you will give up.
