What are some good and healthy foods to eat if someone is trying to loose weight!


Question: i make a big salad with everything , even some cheese, plus 4 table spoons of dressing and it only has 240 calories ( i counted the calories very carefully).
This salad is HUGE, tastes very good and i'm so full that it serves as an entire meal. Or i could also have a couple bananas and it's still only 440 calories.

In other words, lots of fresh fruits n veggies with a little fat is filling and not fattening.

cottage cheese
salad w/ grilled chicken
egg whites
nuts
fruit

Hard crunchy foods are the best for losing weight and feeling full. Apples, carrots, broccoli, celery, etc. Chewing in itself often signals the brain that you're being feed. The hard raw plant based foods require a lot of effort to digest, and help you keep that full feeling longer. They are also pretty tasty. Sweet, but low in calories with no fat.

Nuts aren't really a good diet food. Although they're natural, they're loaded with fat and calories. Granola is also high in fat and calories. Read the labels.

My favorite is carrot sticks and some ranch to dip them in. Lite ranch of course not the full calorie ones!
