What exactly do you eat when you are dieting on the?!

I kind of combine a little bit of this diet and a little bit of another diet to eat good things, and to modify foods and such that I prefer. This is an example of my day...And no it's not perfect but I'm losing weight....For starters you need to set out a goal of how many calories you want to intake a day. I am 5'8" and I stay between 1200-1500. For breakfast I have a slimfast powder mixed w/ skim milk(powder drink has tons of vitamins in it) Then I have 1 serving size of cereal w/ it's suggested amount of milk. For lunch I have a low sodium, low fat soup. (But only 1 serving-most cans are 2 servings.) I either have pretzels or some crackers that are low in fat, sodium and calories. I try and find pretzels/crackers that let you have say 25 for 130 cals instead of a kind that only lets you have 5 for 130 cals. You only have so many cals a day so for me I want the most for my cals. You get it? Then for dinner I eat chicken ALL the time. You dont have to but I make it different ways w/ veggies or rice so I never get sick of it. Your portion size of meat for dinner should be about the size of a deck of cards. starch should take up another 1/4 of your plate and veggies should take up about 2/4 of your plate. In Between all meals I usually have something small. I have a box of raisins or a kelloggs choc drizzle bar (only 90 cals and is low in fat) I also eat Lean Cuisines from time to time but I wouldn't live off of them. Its not good to eat processed food all the time. I mix, slim-fast with weight watchers products with boca (meatless) foods too, just because they are lower in fat and contain soy. Mixing a low diet with exercise (cardio at least 3 times a week) should do the trick.
I am currently doing the same and have lost a pound a day the first two weeks.. that is 3 meals and 3 snacks.. it totally works
When you are having the 6 meals diet, it's all about portion control. Take smaller portions 6 times a day between 2-3 hours after a meal. Here are some food examples:
Breakfast: wholegrain cereal or bread, low fat granola, skimmed milk, fruits and vegetables, wholegrain bagel, oat bran, oatmeal, low fat cereal, yogurt, bran muffin, grapefruit
Snack(after 2-3 hrs): cottage cheese with fruits or wholegrain bread, salad, a handful of nuts, apple, orange, carrot sticks, cucumber, celery
lunch: lean chicken breast, vegetables, beans, fish, tofu soup, brown rice or pasta, salmon steak, asparagus, vegetable lasagna, ratatouille, lentil soup, shrimp salad, vegetable pizza
snack: apple, nuts, apricot, wholewheat scone, oatmeal cookie, grapfruit, fruits or any other food written above in the snack section
dinner: same as lunch but in smaller portions
dessert: fruits, vegetables, skimmed milk
