Why have i gained weight even though i'm running 3-4 times a week?!
Question: i'm not fat, but i want to be in shape and toned so i run on the tredmill for 30 minutes and even though my clothes fit the same and i'm a size 8, my weight has gone up! is it because i'm gaining muscle? and muscle weighs more than fat?

Its probably just muscle youve gained from running, you should buy a body fat scale, I own one and its great! the one I have is called the 'Phoenix body fat scale'. Its gives you your weight, your body fat %, and your Water %. It also has instructions on how to get your 'lean body mass'.

Probably muscle. Keep track of your weight by measuring your waist periodically. This is a better measure of health than weight.
